RigiTech Software Update - September 1, 2025
RigiCloud and Edge Node - v1.16.0:
New features
Enhanced Authentification Security
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) now available for all users for increased cybersecurity
- Magic Link Login available for a seamless and passwordless sign-in experience
- Overall increased platform security for user accounts
PPP-RTK Precision GNSS Integration
The Eiger will now be able to navigate using precise cm-level GNSS positioning. In particular, this will increase the robustness of precision landing even in the absense of the Precision Pad, increasing safety and simplifying workflows.
- The PPP-RTK service will be enabled on a per-drone basis for existing drones by RigiTech's support team, in order to ensure proper backwards compatibility. This process may take several weeks after release. The drone will continue to fly with standard GNSS precision in the meantime.
This service is available in supported countries
- Europe: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Holy see, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK. Excluding Sardinia and Corsica.
- Contiguous USA and Canada: All US states, excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and offshore US territories.
- Australia: New South Wales , Victoria, South Australia (Adelaide and periphery) , Queensland (Brisbane and periphery), Tasmania , Western Australia (Perth and periphery).
- South Korea
GNSS used and RTK availability is shown in the Control Tower HMI interface

Improvement of Marker functionality
Markers are now gaining more importance with the release of RTK technology, as the position of Takeoff and Landing waypoints now needs to be set more accurately. Markers will become mandatory for every ground point - Takeoff, Landing and Rally Points - to simplify the accurate setting of their position across all routes. New tools are being created to simplify this workflow:
Every new route must now be linked to Markers for their Origin and Destination. A new button appears when they don't match the Takeoff and Landing waypoints of a route to allow the route to be updated.
The position of a Marker can be updated from a drone's current postion when in RTK mode, allowing a cm-level setting of the Marker's position. If a Marker is moved, all routes connected to this Marker are re-set to Draft status, as they will need to be updated with this new position.

Improved Flight Review Experience
