RigiTech Software Update - June 2, 2025

RigiCloud and Edge Node - v1.15.0:

Control Tower

Status box and left-hand menu:
- Important information previously only visible in the Telemetry box (AMSL altitude, ground distance, air and ground speeds and precision pad detection) are now displayed diretly in the Status box. The Telemetry box is no longer required for normal oprations and can remain hidden, freeing up space on the flight map.
- The left-hand sidebar has been simplified through reduction of whitespace and moving of some icons into the right-hand sidebar. This results in a cleaner interface for the operator.
- The flight control tools have been moved to the right-hand buttons, thus avoiding the need to hide the left-hand sidebar when using them.
Improved Messages Interface
- Some messages are now classified as Important and thus requiring active acknowledgement from the operator. These messages remain visible until they are dismissed by the operator. All other messages and information can by hidden from the Messages box during operation.
- The full list of possible messages received from the drone (from OC, FS and AP) and from RigiCloud, including recommended actions from the operator, is now documented and available in the Unmanned Aircraft Flight Manual. Message texts have been re-worded for clearer understanding.
Improved simulator:
- Better handling of flights that land at lower altitude than the takeoff point.
- More realistic simulation of dual GNSS sensors and improved precision landing and dropping functionalities.

Improved handling of BatteryID (BID) hardware, improving support for future battery types and reducing ground interactions
Improved data analysis of flight logs through new database infrastructure, allowing more in-depth historical performance analysis of each aircraft and identification of potential degradations
Improved testing infrastructure for new code, including end-to-end testing of some RigiCloud elements
Bug fixes, reliability improvements, software refactors.
