RigiTech Software Update - March 3, 2025

RigiCloud and Edge Node - v1.14.0:

Control Tower:

Range Estimator - battery level estimation:
- New feature in the Operation box (Control Tower), estimating the remaining battery percentage at landing and in the event of RTO. This allows the operator to make more informed decisions on allowing a flight to continue in high-wind situations, for example.
- New messages and warnings when the estimated battery at landing (and RTO) is below the warning and the emergency level.
Distance Flown is now displayed more clearly in the Operations box to avoid confusion.
Bearing (ground course) is now available in the Telemetry box and through the API.
Permissions for "Operator" users are changed to allow them to switch between cameras live stream.

Planner:

Smart route generation now includes population data integration:
- The user can select a maximum population density over which the drone can fly. The Smart Generate algorithm will then automatically generate an entire route based on the population density, terrain and geocages.
Planner safety checks improved:
- Inclusion of new automatic checks, in line with the Flight Manual.
- This improvement simplifies the planning process and reduces the risk of errors.

Fleet Management

Improved Battery statistics and operational history:
- A new dashboard for every battery provides insight into the history of that battery including a list of operations in which it was used.
- High-level battery statistics help identify when a battery requires maintenance or replacement.
- Head of Operations users can now edit the name of the Battery.
Support for future battery auto-identification hardware.

Server infrastructure

New container orchestration system being deployed that is more adapated to scalability and upcoming server-based features.
Upgraded Onboard Computer (OC) logging system for greater insight into flight performance.
New logging system for cloud-based modules.
