Fleet Management
The Fleet management allows you to view the resources associated to your project (UAS, batteries and Edge Nodes).
Drones
In the "Drones" module, you can see the UAS associated to your different bases. If you purchase a new vehicle or remove an old one, RigiTech will update this page.
- Filter menu: here you can filter your drones, from left to right, by serial number, status (active or inactive) and and type (simulator or drone).
- Active filters: shows a summary of the active filters.
- Drone information: here you can see all the drones within your project. From left to right, you can see the serial number, the model, the base to which it is associated and the status.
- Open filter: opens/closes the filter menu (see above).
- Show/hide all attributes: shows/hides all attributes of a drone.
- Example of all attributes: shows generic information of the specific vehicle and model, including:
- Failsafe System: ID of the FS
- FS Motor Cut Counter number of times the FS has been used (including FS tests)
- FS Parachute Counter: number of times the parachute has been used (including fake tests in the production phase)
- ICAO Tail Number: Flarm/RemoteID identifier in hexadecimal
- ICAO 2: ADS-B Out tail number of the UA (if any)
Drone information
When clicking on the Serial Number of a drone, an overview of its status, connection, statistics, maintenance requirements, details and last operations will be displayed.
The different tabs are:
- Overview: shows the general overview of the drone.
- Operations: shows the list of operations of the drone, as defined in Operations.
- Maintenance: opens the maintenance centre of the drone. See Maintenance Centre.
- Software: opens the software update centre of the drone. See Software Update Centre.
- Commands: shows the last commands received by the drone. See Commands.
- Telemetry: shows the last telemetry received by the drone. See Telemetry.
- Status messages: displays the list of most recent status messages sent by the drone.
Drone APN
When putting a new main SIM card, users should configure the UA's APN. This can be done in two ways:
- Through RigiCloud:
- The UA needs to be connected to at least one of the 3G/LTE links (Main and FS).
- If the Main 3G/LTE link is connected, in prevision of changing the SIM card (this option is desired when possible). In this case, users should do it just before changing the SIM card (the link may be lost once updating the configuration).
- Through the Edge Node:
- As long as there is communication between the UA and one Edge Node.
- This option is desired when an Edge Node is available.
- The configuration needs to be done through the Edge Node home page. See Edge Node.
In order to configure the UA's APN, the user should enter the details of their SIM card provider into the "APN configuration" section.
After expanding it, users should edit all parameters to match the SIM card provider information:
- APN Name
- APN User (may be left empty)
- APN Password (may be left empty)
- APN IP Type:
- If IPv4 or IPv6 are used, users should put respectively 4 or 6 in the APN IP Type box.
Once complete, users should click on "Update APN values".
Disclaimer:
- SIM cards should be unlocked (i.e. have no PIN code).
- This is only valid for Eiger-03 and Eiger-02 that have been retrofitted.
Maintenance Centre
The maintenance centre shows the remaining time and/or flight hours until the next maintenance service (which depend on the drone model).
When clicking on the "+" icon at the bottom right corner of the window, a new maintenance service can be added, where users should define:
- Service: maintenance procedure executed (based on the drone model).
- Drone status: changes the status of the drone. Status are:
- Active: the drone can be operated.
- Grounded: the drone cannot be operated.
- Maintenance: the drone needs to follow a maintenance service or procedure.
- Facility: where the maintenance procedure is being executed.
- Consumed time: time consumed during the service.
- Technician: person in charge of the service.
- Date: date of execution of the service.
- Comments: any relevant comment on the procedure or service. Procedures that are not part of a service should be described here.
Software Update Centre
The software update centre shows the current software version of the UA and allows to update it when a new version is available.
- Note: software updates of the Edge Node are currently not supported.
It also shows the drone update history (only from version 1.10.0, released in January 3rd, 2024).
Commands
In the Commands tab, the last commands sent to the UA (and the user sending them) can be seen. The database only stores the commands sent within the last 3 months.
Telemetry
In the Telemetry tab, the info of the telemetry sent to the UA can be seen. The database only stores the telemetry received within the last 3 months.
Status messages
In the Status messages tab, the last messages sent from the UA are listed chronologically.
Batteries
In the "Batteries" module, you can see the batteries associated to your project.
- Filter menu: here you can filter your batteries, from left to right, by battery ID, battery type, status (active or inactive) and associated base.
- Active filters: shows a summary of the active filters.
- Battery information: here you can see all the batteries within your project. From left to right, you can see the battery ID, the battery type, the base to which it is associated and the number of operations of the battery.
- Open filter: opens/closes the filter menu (see above).
- Show/hide all attributes: shows/hides all attributes of a battery.
- Battery attributes: shows generic information of the battery, including its Registration Date, Last Update, First Use, Total Flight Time, etc.
Battery Information
When selecting a battery from the list, by clicking on the battery ID, a dashboard offers an overview of the selected battery. Informations such as statistics related to the battery, the battery ID (can be modified), the base to which the battery is assciated, a comments section, the manufacturer ID and a list of the last operations executed with this battery.
On the right of the "Overview" tab, the "Operations" tab displays the list of operations that were executed with the selected battery
Edge Nodes
In the "Edge Nodes" module, you can see the Edge Nodes associated to your project. If you purchase a new Edge Node or remove an old one, RigiTech will update this page.
- Filter menu: here you can filter your Edge Nodes by the serial number.
- Edge Nodes information: here you can see all the Edge Nodes within your project. From left to right, you can see the serial number (and the status), the version, if synchronization is enabled and the time of the last syncrhonization.
- Open filter: opens/closes the filter menu (see above).
